Well, I quit my job yesterday. Most of you know that I have been debating on what to do for a several weeks. I still may do some contract work for them but we'll see - we are waiting to hear if we will get a grant that will pay for it. But, that will be minimal so as of March 23rd (I have to give 4 weeks) - I will be a SAHM (stay at home mom)! I am so excited and happy! I am looking forward to finding lots of fun things for us to do during the day and being the best mom I can possibly be :)
I am sad to leave all my friends at work, though. I love it there and I love my job - so it was hard to quit. But "it's all about the benandsams" as Matt likes to say. (ha ha, word play on "it's all about the benjamin's" - get it).
Here is a pic of Sam playing with his "tweet" toy. It is his Easter gift from Grandma Rodriguez and it sings and dances and keeps them pretty entertained.
