It's really been more of a Halloween week. Thursday, the boys, Maggie, and I went back to Rose Brooks Center for their annual Pet Costume Contest. We were the cast of the Karate Kid with a few of my other co-workers! The boys were Daniel-son's rival team and wore all black with a white belt, I was a ref for the match, and Maggie was Daniel-son's girlfriend. Once my co-worker sends me a pic of this I"ll post it.
Friday we went to Matt's work for trick-or-treating. This was the first time they wore their costumes without crying the entire time.
A couple of weeks ago the boys and Matt (I was sick) went to Matt's parents for decorating Halloween cupcakes with the family. I"m sad I missed it!
So, as you can see, we are really celebrating the boys 1st Halloween! Like everything else...we are seeing this holiday with new eyes. So much fun!
Here are the peanut (Sam) and elephant (Ben):

When Ben eats he kinda lounges back - like he's the king of the castle! You can see him doing this here while he is enjoying a snack:

Upset peanut, lounging elephant:

Cute lil guy:

Here are the boys with all the cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. In this pic Sam is the elephant and Ben is the peanut. We figured out Sam withstands the peanut costume much better so we switched:

Matt and I went to a Halloween party on Friday night. Matt was Marty McFly and I was Lorraine from when he traveled back to the 50's (Back to the Future). Sam looks thrilled to be in duckie PJ's.

Hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween!
