1 year check-up

Today the boys had their 1 year check-up and immunizations. As I have said before, I LOVE their doctor! She is so good with them!

Stats from today:

Ben:
Weight: 22lb 9oz (50th percentile)
Height: 29 1/2 inches (50th percentile)
Head: 18 1/2 inches (70th percentile- yep, he's a Bleything!)

Sam:
Weight: 22lbs (45th percentile)
Height: 30 inches (50-60 percentil)
Head: 18 1/2 (70th - yep, he's his daddy's son!)

Poor guys got shots in both legs :( After I got them home they only slept 30 minutes for their afternoon nap and then were cranky the rest of the night. I think their little thighs hurt.

They also recommend that babies get tested for anemia and lead exposure at one year so I'll be taking them to get those labs next week.

Everything checked out good! We did have the "no more bottle" talk and plan on taking those away cold turkey sometime before Christmas. She suggested cold turkey vs. gradual especially with twins. Sam had a dry spot on his face, which I'm pretty sure is from being constantly licked by Maggie throughout the day.

I am so thankful and grateful that they are healthy and happy little guys!
