9 months!

Wow- the boys have been on the outside as long as they were on the inside. The outside seems much much longer than the pregnancy though!

Here are some pics of the boys on their 9 month b-day:

Here they are playing with their favorite toy right now, their lego table. They think they are so cool that they can pull themselves up to standing and play on the table. They love the legos shaped like cars. We started pushing them across the table saying "vrooommm" and now they push them across the table and say something that you can tell they are trying to say vrooomm but it doesn't come out that way.


Their other favorite toy...Daddy! (can you tell why they think he's so much fun?)
How have they changed during the last month? Let's see....

Ben:
- Crawls all over the place but is still a little slow. I think he has to stop every once and awhile to rest that big ol' head of his
- Pulls up to standing
- Points at things he likes such as cars, pictures, Maggie, Grandpa and Grandma, to go outside. He yells while he is pointing and we call him the Caveman.
- Talks all the time. Still not really mama or dada very often but his new thing is when he realizes something he goes "oh". He also said "hi" very very clearly when I said "hi" to him but I know that was just one of those things.
- Prefers bits of food to pureed baby food
- Can feed himself chunks of food and stuffs Puffs down his throat like they are candy, which I think they are! Have you ever tasted one? Those things are way too sweet!
- Got 2 more teeth! He now has 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. The poor guy was not himself for awhile but he's a happy baby now.

Sam:
- Crawls at lightening speed
- Pulls himself up very quickly to standing
- Eats bits of food but doesn't really care about it as much as Ben. Sam favors movement and Ben favors food and toys
- Talks all the time - lots of mamas and dadas. Matt swears he got him to repeat mama...again, probably just one of those things
- Crawls over to me and wants to be picked up all the time. He gets jealous when I'm holding Ben
- Understands "gentle pet" when petting Maggie
- Slaps people in the face all the time....Ben laughs when Sam slaps him in the face
- Is turning into the agressive twin.....he pulls Ben's hair, trys to pull him to the ground, slaps
- Smiles and laughs all the time
- Looks to be about 2 inches taller than Ben (we have a doc appt. on Monday so I'll get the offical measurements)

All in all the boys are growing leaps and bounds daily. I feel like they are right on track where they are supposed to be and that makes me feel less worried and stressed for the time being (I'm always worried somethings wrong!).
