Here are the boys doing their own version of playing in the snow:
My dad came over to pick up my mom (she was helping me) and the boys loved watching him do some shoveling:
The boys love their new chairs they got for Christmas. Unfortunately, they also love watching TV :( Matt gave them their bottles and put them on their boppy pillows to drink them. When he came back in the room...this is what he saw:
I hope the TV isn't too high, it looks like he's stretching his neck a bit. Or maybe I should just discourage TV, ya think?
Speaking of bottles....yesterday I gave the bottles a good scrubbing and washing and I'm waiting for them to dry so I can pack them away! Yes, the boys are totally done with the bottle. We got away with this transition way, way easier than I ever expected! They had been down to 2 bottles a day for about a month now so taking them away all together wasn't hard. We just feed them breakfast earlier in the morning and give them a sippy cup with milk before bed. Honestly, I'm shocked on how little fight they put up...actually no fight at all! One more thing that shouts at us "your babies aren't babies anymore!".
Speaking of not being babies anymore....we sold one of our baby car seats on Craigslist last week. We got 1/2 the price my mom paid for it (my parents got us our car seats for a shower gift). I thought that was a pretty good return! The seat was in brand new condition so the man who bought it was very pleased, as well. When it left our house I just pictured our two 6 pound babies coming home in them! Maggie smiled proudly next to them in their car seats minutes after we brought them home. Bittersweet because we sold a carseat.....but we didn't sell both ;)
