My parents and Matt's parents watched the boys for us. Matt and I flew into Denver and drove with our friends, Betsy and Leo, 6 1/2 hours to Telluride. Of course, in true Jill style, we were late getting to the airport and missed our flight! In my defense they changed the flight to leave at 6:30am and never notified me (I made the reservation to leave at 6:45am). We were a little late getting to Denver so a big thanks to Betsy and Leo for waiting for us...and giving us crap about it ;)
Telluride is so pretty with the mountains and wonderful views. Everything is within walking distance. The house we stayed at was about a minute walk to the main street.

We rented a huge house to fit the 9 of us that were staying together. The house was so cool and a perfect place for all of us to stay. Here is a view from our balcony:

We got there on Thursday and on Friday morning we went on a hike. My girlfriends tease me because I am not one for hiking. On one of our girls trips we hiked in Arizona and I quit about 100 yards from the end point. This one was much more enjoyable!

While we were hiking, Matt and Leo went golfing at the very nice Telluride golf course. He could probably get used to this:
On Saturday morning we took a gondola ride to Mountain City (I think that's what it was called but can't remember). It was a cute little place tucked right into the mountains.Lonni, Pooky and Betsy on the ride there:

The central event, the wedding, was Saturday night at 5pm. It was at the Aha school for the Arts. The wedding was outside with a mountain backdrop and the reception was inside the venue. It was such a beautiful place with best friends and lots of love.

Thanks Brooke and Kevin and your families for hosting such a wonderful weekend. The food was amazing, as expected from these two food lovers! The music made Matt turn into a stalker (he loved the live bands!). The fresh air and vacation was much needed. And, I couldn't be happier for my best girlfriend since 1st grade!
