1. Jayhawks
2. Bubble guppies
During March Madness they became obsessed with the giant inflatable Jayhawks some of our neighbors had blown up in their yards. We would say "Boo Chickenhawks!", which would confuse them because they know we eat chicken.
They also know we eat fish. One of the cartoons they watch now is called Bubble Guppies. They are 1/2 people, 1/2 fish and really cute. The boys are terrified and, frankly, grossed out, that we may be grilling up some bubble guppies for dinner when we eat fish.
I'm hearing a lot of "Mom, we don't eat Jayhawks" and "Mom, bubble guppies are yucky. We don't eat them" coming from the back seat while driving.
On a totally unrelated story, we went to Ernie Miller Nature Center with some girls from my moms of multiples group today. Here are Sam and Ben and their good friends, Abigail and Braeden, holding hands on the walking trail. I'm so happy that my boys have so many friends they get to play with on a regular basis!
Awe, our kids are so sweet! It was a good day!
