Girls Trip 2012/ Sarah's Bachelorette Party

First let me start by saying Sam is fine!  I was really nervous to leave on my girls trip because he hit his head so hard- but so far, so good- thank goodness.

So, we had another wonderful girls trip!  We had a combo girls trip/ bachelorette party for Sarah and we did it up right this year.

We went to San Diego and stayed at a pimp house on the beach.  And, when I say pimp I mean it looks like a pimp really stayed there.  More pimp like Flava Flav than street walker.  Ok, enough about that- this is a family blog!  The house was actually a great location and really wonderful living area.  Some aspects of the house, well, let's just say were sketchy.

Mirrors EVERYWHERE!!  I don't need to see myself that much.

Stained glass wall:

There were a total of 13 girls staying here.  Sarah was the bachelorette (middle) and her maid of honor Sara (right) and good friend, Melissa (left) did a great job planning a wonderful weekend for us girls.
Here they are together:

On Friday night Melissa set us up with a sweet suite at the San Diego Padres Game:

Are those three girls on the right supposed to be in this pic?

We even got to go on the field to watch fireworks.  The bachelorette is pretty excited about this:
Saturday we rented cruisers and went on a bike ride along the beach.  I did pretty well considering the only time I ever ride a bike is once a year when we get my cruiser out, I ride up and down the street while Matt laughs at me and calls me the wicked witch of the west.

We also sat around and had a whitest legs contest.  Apparently, we don't get much sun in Kansas:

Saturday night we went to a really good seafood restaurant.  I had bacon-wrapped scallops that were maybe the best scallops I've ever had!

Me (mom of twins) and Lonni (future mom of twins).   Let's take this picture next year and see if she looks so rested:

Kara (another mom-to-be on the trip) and Emily, looking purdy in her jump suit:
